This booklet is about pelvic radiotherapy. It is for anyone who is having radiotherapy to the pelvic area. This is the area in the lower part of the tummy (abdomen), between the hips. It explains the side effects that may happen during, or shortly after, pelvic radiotherapy, how side effects can be controlled or reduced, and where you can find support.
