Work and cancer

To help us reach more people with cancer we are simplifying the way we offer support to help with financial worries. Our Financial Guidance, Work Support and Energy Advice services have now closed. We continue to provide information and support for money-related issues through the Macmillan Support Line, website and Online Community.

Although this booklet has been updated to reflect these changes there is no need to replace any MAC11675_E08_R stock you may have previously ordered.

This booklet has information about work and cancer, including how cancer and its treatments can affect your ability to work. It covers employment rights and coping with the effects of treatment at work, for example, tiredness, as well as providing tips on talking about cancer in the workplace. There is also information on not going back to work and discrimination.

An audio version of this booklet can be listened to via SoundCloud, from where it can also be downloaded by users with a SoundCloud account. Please note that the SoundCloud audiobook does not include the most recent changes made to this booklet.
